Sonic Tribal: Ch 21 Chapter 21 To Capture a Specimen.

Out in the deep jungle, it has been a long day for a group of men with Dr. Philip. Hours ago they had parachuted down from the jet and got stuck in the trees. Eventually with hard work, the men got a camp going and set up a secure parameter. During the whole time, Dr. Philip was working on some kind of stuffed animal that he modeled after the little fox that he saw in the video.

The men where still working hard to get everything set. Eventually Philip heard one of them mumbling, "I don't like this play…. This jungle is cursed no? And no one has returned, no?"

"This place is not cursed!" exclaim

Croniss and Laruth as Kidsby *Lord-Kiyo

suggested me to draw Croniss and Laruth when they where kids. Well with this one I tried to actually draw up a back ground for once. But the detail of this kinda fails in comparison to my newer works, But I suppose its not too bad. But I need work on making pics of children. And it's odd to see Laruth with no breasts.

Anyway Croniss is asking Laruth to play ball with him. She looks interested. Well hope you all enjoy. Now off to my next project.

I think it has something to do with that bandanna wrapped around her head, it gives her a young boy look (I'm not saying she looks like a boy but that bandanna just gives off a tomboy vibe).
BTW:
Hiding Croness's boy part behind a ball is a nice touch.

Well just about everyone has a head band, its not really a bandanna. But she is not as girly as alot of girls are though. She likes sports.

Thanks. However during this age, he does not have that much there that needs hideing. There small and is hidden in his cub coat.

. though they look older than they're supposed to be, at least i think so (again

). there are a lot of things that indicate the age of someone. for example how tall or how big they are. if you got no real refference for the hight (like here), i'd just look at there faces and judge them. you know what you unconsciously judge the age of a face for? its the jawbone. i assume you are suprised now

. Well thats why i'd judge them to be older here. Croniss's looking not as old as laruth does, because laruth's face is kinda looking like the grown one. i'm just telling you what i see, i hope it helps you a bit

. But otherwise the anatomy is really nice, as always.
The shading on laruth is really good, i like that, but i think the one on croniss is looking a bit odd, because the shading is too red/purpleish for me. i know there's a purple lamp back there, but its still looking kinda strange to me.
I really like that doll, it lookis so cute

. Reminds me of manic, somehow. The background is nice, too. But it has to be, you're an architect

yeah it's kinda odd to see laruth without breasts, though i dont know when they're supposed to be visible, i guess its kinda different with them than it is with those stupid filthy humans

Yeah the jaw bone is a good indication, and alot of times I use that to make someone look older, but I just have not drawn one for much younger kids, and I kinda messed this one up.

yeah I did not like the shading on Croniss much at all. The filter did not respond too well to his blue color. This could mean I will have problems when working on Sonic in my contest pic I am doing.

its not really messed up, they just seem to be older than 5 or 6 as they are supposed to. if you're going for 10, everything would be fine

There are loads of shading techniques out there, you might need to use a different one. though i love your newest style. I always liked the dodge and burn tools, but i guess they were not as good in cs2 as they are now.
