Dimonze: Chapter 9 Help a Tribe on an Island

In the morning of a brand new day, Sonic still in disguise was waiting at Kika`s house just leaning against the wall.  In a few moments Kika opened the door, and she greeted, "Hello Sonic! What are you doing here so early?"

Sonic pointed up to his new red tipped hair and said, "Well you are the one that wanted to see me with red tips when I am blue."

Kika looked at Sonic and responded, "But you are still white!"

"Well that will change soon.  I had a good run this morning… Anyway, how was the game!?"  

"Dr. Sara actually lost!!" exclaimed Kika depressingly.  "A girl named Dimonze actually beat her!"

"Dimonze?..." exclaimed Sonic, "WHAT!!!  Dimonze!!?"

"Yea, Me and a few other friends are going to meet her and.."

"NO!!!  Don't go near her!  She is crazy and dangerous!!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Kika as she put her hands on her hips.  "She seemed all right."

"Well, I don't really want to explain right now.  But trust me, she is bad news.  And I still have bumps to prove it!"  At this moment Sonic's fur started to turn back to blue, but the tips of his hair stayed red.  

"Wow!!" complemented Kika, "You should keep it that way.  You look very cool!"

Sonic started to blush while he rubbed the back of his head, "We-Well, I need to go see how Tails is doing.  I kind'a dropped someone at his house."  Then Sonic ran off.

Sonic did not waist any time getting to Tails's shack.  When Sonic got there he saw that nobody was in the room.  Sonic went over to the desk, "They must be down in the hanger."  Sonic opened up the entrance and headed down to the hanger.  He soon found that Tails was asleep on a desk.  Kachu was asleep on the other side of the desk.

It looked as if Tails was working on a computer chip when he fell asleep.  Sonic walked over to Tails and woke him up by shaking his shoulder.  Tails opened his eyes and yawned.  He looked up at Sonic and said, "Oh, I guess I went to sleep in the middle of my work."

Sonic snickered, thinking Tails probably does that all the time.  Then he asked, "So what are you working on anyway?"

"I was working on the T-S 2.  All I really need to do is finish this circuit bored and I will be done!  Well that is just for the real parts of the chip.  I would still have to get the paint job done and so on."

Tails immediately got back to work on the circuit bored, while Sonic went into the T-S 2.  He came in from what looked like a small hanger bay.  He kept on walking down the halls, just looking around.  He saw that the finial touches weren't even attempted yet.  The walls did not look much with all the bolts in plain sight.

In a few moments, Sonic came into a fairly spherical room.  At the center of the room was two points coming from the ceiling and floor.  It looked like they were conducting electricity.  There where also 3 rings of metal sheets that orbited the generator.  Lightning streams came out from the sheets and sent it down to the center.

Kachu soon snuck up behind Sonic and exclaimed, "Amazing isn't it?"  Sonic was a little startled at first.  But he went back at just staring at the generator in complete aw.  Then Kachu continued, "I think Tails will be more advance than Dr. Robotnik Livingtor himself.  Hopefully Tails will never be led to do bad things.  Because with what he even has now, he can easily concur the world."

As Sonic was leaning on the guard rail, he smiled and said, "I don't think Tails will ever get mixed up with anything like that.  He dose not like building killing machines."  

"You did not get a good look at the new wings did you?" asked Kachu, "He may not like making them, but he can do an exhalant job of making them.  The wings have a high intensity weapon system."

"They have twenty times more power than a lightning bolt," explained Tails as he suddenly just came in from behind them.  "It can take something like the Stinger down with one hit.  And this is only the power of one wing.  The complete power is 120 times more powerful than lightning!"

Sonic looked at Tails and asked, "How could you build such a terrifying weapon!?"

"Well it was really for blasting asteroids out of the way," said Tails.  "But I also realized that we are fighting against Dr. Robotnik.  So like it or not, I must make weapons so we can fight against him.  So this is the first weapon I had built."

"The first!?  The way that you explained this to me, it sounds like you have built weapons your whole life!  What kind of generator is that thing anyway!!?"

"That is a 1 ton Magneto Spheric Generator!  For short you can call it a 1-MSG  

"How much power can that thing produce?"

"I haven't fully tested it yet, but I think I can get it to press somewhere up to 4,800,000,000 EP."

"4,800,000,000 energy power!!  That's Crazy!!"

Tails sighed and said, "I do not plan to build another ship like this.  And I do not plan to sell any of this"

Then all of a sudden Kachu said, "It looks like some one else plans to sell you Tails!"

"What do you mean?!"  asked Tails as he walked over to Kachu.

"Sally Carter is on the monitor with a picture of your tails!  Not only that, it is on all the channels!"

Tails looked over to a wall and commanded, "T-S, Monitor on! Channel 7!"  Then a holographic monitor came up displaying the news.  "No she found out!!" cried Tails when he saw the video of himself.  "Soon there will be people after me all the time!"  

Sonic came up next to Tails and said, "She will figure out where you live no mater what!  And if that happens, Dr. Robotnik will find you with no problem!"

Tails looked down to the floor sadly.  Then he looked back up, "Oh well.  Let's not worry about that right now.  I want to test fly the T-S 2 before I try to put in the final touches.  So let's go!"

Tails ran to the control room and everyone else followed him.  When Tails got into the control room, he started to install the chip that he had just built.  Sonic looked around the room.  There where five control seats.  Four in two rows at the front, and one in the back at the center.  In a few moment Tails sat in the control seat at the back, and handled the controls that were the same design as the ones in the Stinger.  Sonic did not think it mattered much where he sat, because he knew nothing of this machine anyway.  Both Sonic and Kachu just sat in the two seats in the front.

"All right, it would be a good idea for you to buckle in!" said Tails as he got buckled up.  Sonic and Kachu found there buckles and secured them.

Then Tails pushed a few things on a touch screen.  He grasped the controls and sent the T-S 2 up at hovering level.  The hanger doors opened, and Tails gave the engines power.  The T-S 2 blasted out of the hanger and streamed into space within a second.  Within a flash they just passed the moon.  Tails soon slowed down the T-S 2 to a stop, and turned the ship around to see planet Karthath.

"Wow!!" screamed Kachu with amazement.  "That is beautiful Tails!"

"Well," started Tails as he rubbed the back of his head with modesty, "It is just what I do.  Outer space is sure, nice and peaceful."

Sonic sighed and said, "I have been out here plenty of times. This is nothing new to me.  We should go back and finish up."

Tails looked down to Sonic.  He figured Sonic was thinking about his parents.  Tails shook his head and said, "All right...  We can spend more time out here later."

So Tails started to fly the ship back to the planet.  When the ship started to come in range of the planet, it started to shake.  Sonic felt the vibration and shouted, "What's going on!!?"

"I am looking for the problem now!!" exclaimed Tails.  "It seems something is pulling the generator to the Grand Cano!!"  

"How could something do that!?"  

"The generator operates with magnetic power!  There must be something at the Grand Cano that is attracting the generator like a magnet!!"

The ship started to fall back to Karthath.  It was going directly to an enormous extinct volcano.  

Kachu was fiddling with some controls and soon said, "I found where we are heading!!  We are going to crash on an isolated island!"  

"Crash!!?" exclaimed Tails, "We are not going to crash as long as I am in control of this ship!"

Tails tried to guide the T-S 2 from turning over on its back.  The ship was falling at a faster rate.  Soon Sonic looked over to Tails and exclaimed, "Tails!!  Give the generator more power so we can fight away from… what ever that thing is!"

"That won't work!" shouted Tails as he fought the controls, "The subject will just pull us in faster and harder!"  

"Well if we turned the generator off, it can't pull us! Right!?"  

"I can't turn it off!!  The subject is keeping it on!  And even if I could turn it off, we will still fall!"

The T-S 2 came down to the island.  Tails started up the landing mode, and said, "Hang on everyone!!  We are coming in for a landing!!"  The ship seemed to be pulled to the mountain of the island.  

Tails directed the ship to the beach.  When he got to a certain point, he put some auxiliary airbrakes on full.  The ship went into a slight stall.  Tails kept the nose up and they touched the ground.

Even though they were on the ground, the ship was still being dragged to the mountain.  Tails jumped out of his seat and went to another control panel.  As he started to work on it he said, "Now if I just reverse the polarity of the north pin of the generator to negative, that should cancel the energy flow and stop the generator!"

Then all of a sudden there was a hard jerk that shuttered the ship.  And then the ship stopped moving.  In a few more moments, all the lights went out.

Sonic unbuckled and staggered over to Tails, "I thought you said you could not turn it off."

Tails sighed and looked away a little, "I did not want to have it turned off like that.  The results of canceling a power flow like that could damage the ship.  It also causes a chain reaction that discharges the batteries.  Which is why we have no power now.  If I turned it off like that in the sky, we would not be talking right now."

"Sorry Tails," apologized Sonic, "I did not know it was that complicated.   Well…  Let's go and find out what has brought us here."

Tails, Sonic, and Kachu went out of the ship to look around.  The fist thing Tails looked at was the landing gear.  They looked like they had minimal damage.  He knew that it did not need immediate attention, but he would not want to neglect them.

Soon they all went into the jungle to find what pulled the T-S 2 to the island.  Tails was looking at all the tropical plant life around.  He never seen anything like them.  They were so different from the trees at home.

The shrubs that they were going threw were so thick.  They could not see where they were going.  Then all of a sudden Sonic bumped into a Weasel that looked like a primitive.  Sonic was a little surprised to see such a person.  But the Weasel looked like he was more surprised to see them.  He looked a little shocked.  He eventually started to run backwards and ran away.

All three of them kept on walking threw the thick jungle.  But it was not long till a whole tribe of Weasels came up.  They were all pointing and chatting.  Sonic started to wonder what they where planning.  He was sure that they were in for a fight.

Then someone that looked like the chief came up.  The whole tribe bowed down to Sonic, Tails, and Kachu.  The chief soon bowed down too and announced, "Young God of the sky!  We are eternally grateful that you have come.  Please speak your name, so we can remember it on your statue."

At first they were not sure what this old guy was talking about.  But soon Tails realized that the chief was talking to him.  Tails was stunned and started to stutter.  "My… My name is Tails.  But I am not a god."

"We know that you are young.  And may not be able to get rid of the God of evil who calls himself Dr. Robotnik.  But with the God of the sea you may beat him!  Please give us your name God of the sea!"

Sonic was just looking at the old man like he was crazy.  Eventually Sonic said, "Since my fur is blue, I assume you are talking to me.  My name is Sonic.  Where is Dr. Robotnik!!"  

Then the elder said, "He is at the temple, building some kind of monster.  I know you can flow fast like the water.  Maybe you can drown the creature when Tails makes it rain."

Tails was about to tell them again that they where not Gods, but Sonic nudged him with his shoulder and whispered, "Tails, We should just play along for now.  To them we are gods, we should not change that.  Or at least not right now." Then he turned to the elder and continued, "We will find our own way to beat him.  He must be making magnetic forces.  Therefore I don't think Tails can make it rain here."

Sonic grabbed Tails and was about to run off, but Tails pulled back and yelled, "Wait!!  I need to take Kachu back to the ship.  You go ahead Sonic.  I'll catch up."

Sonic nodded and let go of Tails.  Before he ran off he said, "Just be careful Tails, Robotnik has new things on his mind." Then Sonic ran off.

Tails grabbed Kachu firmly by the hand, and he flew into the air, back to the ship.

Then a younger weasel went to the elder and said, "You are right grandpa!  He is the great young God of the sky.  He can fly!!"  

The elder said, "Yes, and he can give us new fresh water to drink, and more friendly sky's if we make him happy.  Come everyone! We must prepare!"

It was not long till Tails just flew over their heads to the direction of Sonic.  Tails did not have to dodge trees like Sonic had to do, so he caught up with Sonic with no problem.

When they got to the foot of the mountain, they looked up and saw that there was a black ring spinning around the mountain.  Tails pointed at it and shouted, "That is the magnet that pulled us here!!  But what would Dr. Robotnik do with a magnet like that?"

"Concur the world no doubt!!" exclaimed Sonic, "He knows that the Grand Cano is a good spot to cause trouble.  So he is going to do it at a safe distance.  Come on, we got work to do!"

Sonic started to run up the mountain with sonic speed.  Tails flew up behind him.  It was not long till they had a nice view of the whole island.  When they started to get to the top, a bunch of orbs flew down to them.  

The orbs started to shoot lasers at Sonic.  Sonic jumped at one and spin dashed it.  When he hit one orb, he jumped to another one.  All the orbs were close enough for him to jump on.  Soon he jumped on the last one.  When it exploded Sonic jumped for the temple.

When Sonic came back down to the temple, he grabbed a ledge of the temple wall, but a block gave away, and Sonic began to fall. Tails twirled his tails and flew down to catch him.  When Tails caught Sonic he started to fly back up.  

Sonic looked up and said, "Thanks Tails!  But don't try to fly all the way.  You can't fly for that long."  

"Don't worry Sonic," started Tails, "Last time I carried you, you where in a heavy chained net.  You weigh a lot less without it."

As Tails flew closer to the top, more orbs came down.  "I will get them this time!!" said Tails.  Then Tails dropped Sonic on a ledge.   The orbs went after Sonic, more eagerly than the last ones.  Sonic started to run along the ledge as the orbs started to shoot at him.  Then Tails came up behind the orbs and grabbed it, and threw it at the wall of the temple.  One of the orbs managed to hit Sonic.  Sonic fell on the ledge and almost fell off of the temple.

Before the orb could shoot Sonic again, Tails jumped on the orb and threw it on the temple wall.  Tails grabbed Sonic again and flew the rest of the way to the top.

When they got to the top of the temple, they saw the statues of the tribe's Gods.  They looked around at all the statues that where facing inward of a circle.  Soon Tails saw a statue that looked just like him, so he ran to it to get a better look.  

Sonic looked around and found another statue of a Kitsune.  Sonic looked down to the pedestal that it was standing on and saw some writing.  He was able to read it, "The God of War…"

Tails went over to another statue.  This statue looked just like Sonic.  Tails looked over to Sonic and said, "This is creepy!  Do you think these statues are a coincidence?  Wait a minute, where is Dr. Robotnik?"

At that moment, the center of the floor started to crack.  It soon shattered and a large orb started to rise up.  At first Sonic thought it was another orb that was going to go after them.  But then a door opened and Dr. Robotnik came out.

When Robotnik saw that Tails and Sonic were there he exclaimed, "How on Karthath did you know I was here!?  No mater…  I have done some upgrades on D-B 02 anyway!  It's time for a test run. D-B 02!!"

Then D-B 02 came out of the orb and responded, "Yes Dr. Robotnik?"

Robotnik pointed to Sonic and yelled, "Kill Sonic!!!"

D-B 02 flew out of the orb.  It was apparent that he had some changes.  His wings where replaced with jet discs.  He also had a shield on his left arm.  For his first move, he pointed his shield at Sonic and started to shoot energy balls at him.  

Sonic dashed out of the way with no problem.  But then the energy balls started to swerve back.  They were like heat seeking missiles.

Sonic out ran the energy balls and ran right to D-B 02.  Sonic jumped up and spin dashed the robot's head.  However Sonic just bounced off, not leaving a scratch on D-B 02.  Apparently the armor was enhanced as well.

While Sonic was stun to the fact that his spin dash was useless, D-B 02 started to fire his lasers.  Sonic dodged them all with ease.  Then D-B 02 started to fire more energy balls.  Sonic was able to dodge attacks, but he could not get close enough to the robot to try another attack.

Tails saw that Sonic was having problems with attacking the robot.  So while D-B 02 was distracted by Sonic, he ran over to D-B 02 to spit acid on him.  Before Tails was able to get close to the robot, Dr. Robotnik ran over and grabbed Tails.  "Yes!!!" shouted Robotnik with happiness, "You are now mine, Mores!  Yes all mine!!"  

Sonic was about to save Tails, but D-B 02 immediately took the opportunity to pin Sonic down to the floor.  Sonic franticly tried to get up, but D-B 02 was far too heavy for Sonic to move.

Dr. Robotnik walked by chuckling.  He looked down at Sonic and said, "There is no chance of you wining this time Sonic Tiyhan."  Then he looked to D-B 02 and said, "D-B 02!  Crush his skull!!!"

"Yes sir!" responded D-B 02 as he put his hand over Sonic's face.  Sonic tried to keep his head away from the robot's grasp, but D-B 02 grabbed Sonic's head and started to squeeze.  Sonic screamed in agony.

"NO!!!" shouted Tails as he squirmed in Robotnik's grasp, "Leave him alone you MONSTERS!!!  I'll do what ever you want!  Just leave Sonic alone!!"  No mater how hard Tails tried, he could not get loose.  

As Robotnik started to take Tails to the big orb, he said, "I already have what I want.  Why should I spare Sonic?"

Just before he got into the orb, someone kicked Robotnik in the face.  The collision sent him down to the floor, Tails was still in his clutches.  Robotnik got up and saw what kicked him.  It was the Kitsune that looked like the god of war statue.

The red Kitsune glared at Robotnik and said, "Let my cousin Mores go!!  Or I will have to hurt you!"

Dr. Robotnik was angry for the fact that someone came to take what he rightfully stolen.  "I don't know who you are!!" snarled Robotnik. "But I am not going to give up Mores so easily!"

"I am Kimonze," said the Kitsune.  "And I shall kill you for not releasing Mores!!"

Then Kimonze ran at Dr. Robotnik and smacked him with his tails.  Dr. Robotnik was thrown to the hull of the orb, and he dropped Tails.

Robotnik got up real fast and pulled out a blaster rifle from his Reanthis.  He started to shoot at Kimonze.  However Kimonze was way too fast to get hit.

Soon Kimonze ran up to Dr. Robotnik and uppercut him in the chin.  While Robotnik was in the air, he came back down taking out a sword.  When he hit the ground, he immediately slashed Kimonze's stomach.

Kimonze fell to his knees.  Robotnik was about to strike him again, but Kimonze rolled out of the way and spat acid at Dr. Robotnik.  Only Robotnik's top part of his Reanthis got hit, so he took it off.

While Kimonze was battling Robotnik, Tails ran at D-B 02 to stop him from killing Sonic.  He jumped on the robot's back and started to try to disassemble him with his bare hands.

D-B 02 got off of Sonic and tried to shake Tails off.  Then the robot grabbed Tails.  "SONIC!!" shouted Tails, "Wake up!!  Please wake up!!"

Sonic soon started to get up he was throbbing his cracked head.  He never felt so bad in his life.  But then he saw that Tails was in trouble.  Without thinking, he immediately jumped up and spin dashed D-B 02 a few times.  He did manage to hit the robot in the right spot to make him drop Tails.

D-B 02's patience was wearing thin, so he just flew into the air.  Then he started to shoot energy rockets at Sonic.  Sonic just out ran them all.

Tails took the opportunity to fly up to D-B 02 and spit acid at him.  There were some direct hits, but the armor was thicker and seemed a little more resilient to acid.

D-B 02 saw Tails, so he went after him.  Tails flew away, and flew low to the floor.  D-B 02 followed Tails closely and was about to get him.  That is when Sonic was able to jump on D-B 02's back.

Sonic covered D-B 02's eyes so he could not see.  D-B 02 just stopped and tried to shake Sonic off.  "Darn!!" exclaimed Sonic, "I was hoping you were dumb enough to crash into a statue.  I guess I need to try something else."

In an instant D-B 02 grabbed Sonic and threw him hard on the floor.  The impact rattled Sonic's brain.  All he could see was static.  Despite his fatal injuries, he got back up, but was a little wobbly.

At this point, Dr. Robotnik had enough on Kimonze's beatings, so he ran to D-B 02, jumped on and said, "Let's get out of here D-B 02.  The canon will do its job!  And the world will be mine!!"  Then D-B 02 flew away out into the sky.

Knowing time was short, Tails ran in the orb to see if he could stop the canon.  Sonic wobbled in and asked, "How… are you going to stop… the canon?"

Tails went to the controls, "Well… If I over lode the magnet with its own magnetic filed, it might disintegrate.  Then the cannon will not be able to fire from the lack of constant energy."  Tails started to press a few buttons.  He soon went bellow the control panel and took it apart, and started to rewire a few things. Then an alarm started to wail.

"Warning, over lode!" exclaimed a computer voice, "Warning, over lode!  Magnet friction state is exceeding 600 K's limit.  Warning!  Friction state has exceeded 1500 K's!  Evacuate!  Evacuate!"

Tails and Sonic ran out of the orb.  The orb soon exploded as the magnet ring started to teeter as it was disintegrating.  Then it started to fall and it disintegrated before it hit the ground

"We did it Sonic!!" exclaimed Tails.  He noticed Sonic did not say anything, so he looked over to him.  Sonic was face down on the floor.  "Sonic?...  SONIC!!"

Tails flipped Sonic over and put his ear over Sonic's chest.  He could still hear his heart beat.  Then a voice said, "So that is Sonic."  Tails looked up and saw that it was Kimonze.  "Dimonze warned me about him.  I think I will take him out now."

Tails threw himself over Sonic and cried, "Not without taking me out first!!"

Kimonze looked at Tails with an eyebrow up.  "She said you might do something like that.  Nevertheless, are you ready to go home, Mores?"

"What?" asked Tails with his ears perked up.  "You know me?  I don't have the same feelings as I did when I met Dimonze and Robotnik.  You could not be someone of my past.  How could I trust you!?  Out of all of you that I have met, you just all want to kill Sonic!!?"

Kimonze smiled, "I know your high instincts don't say much about me.  Dr. Hower Livingtor made both of us.  But I was made a month ago.  Dr. Hower grew me with no child hood."

"That explains way I don't feel anything from you," responded Tails, "Evan if you did save me, it does not mean I can trust you…  I can't feel you…  It's like your not even there!!"

"Because I was made to be undetectable.  Your super senses are no use against me.  Anyway, I think trust should be earned.  Even if we are relatives.  I will leave you alone, and come back later to see if you would like to come home.  Now I got to go and find Dimonze.  I was ordered to retrieve her too, but she insisted in searching for you.  I'll be going now."

Kimonze started to twirl his tails, and hovered up in the air.  Then he took off in a flash, leaving a sonic boom that knocked Tails down.

Sonic started to wake up.  Tails looked down and exclaimed, "Sonic!  Your okay!!"

As he moaned and rubbed his head he said, "Yea...  I think D-B 02 got a little tougher…  Hey…  Did I see a red Kitsune?"

"Yea,"  started Tails with his ears down.  "He saved us, or me.  I don't know if we can really trust him though.

"So… I guess you Kitsunes become very strong when you get older.  Well… We need to get going."

Tails nodded and grabbed Sonic by the hands and started to fly down the temple to make there way back to the ship.  

When they got to the ship the whole tribe of Weasels were camped out there.  As soon as they saw Sonic and Tails coming in, they all started bowing to them.  

Tails soon landed and the elder went to up to him and said, "Young God of the Sky, we have brought all of the fruits to you.  And all we wish for is fresh water to drink.  Would you please accept our offering, and allow it to rain upon us?"

"I don't want to take all your fruit," said Tails in a friendly manor, "But I will see if I can get it to rain."

Both Tails and Sonic went back into the T-S 2.  Tails went strait to the generator room and opened an access hatch.  He pulled out a long leaver and started to push it down.  When he got it down, he raised it up and pushed it down again.  He did that a few times till he pushed it down till it clicked in.

Then a computer said, "Temporary charge is now stored.  Awaiting generator ignition."

At that moment Tails pushed a big green button.  A loud crack came from the MSG.  Then a light humming noise was heard as the sheets of metal began to levitate back in orbit.  It started out slow.  Only small streams of electricity were sent into the center.  In a few moments, Tails started to turn a knob.  The generator started to work faster.

Tails closed the hatch and started back to the control room.  Once he got into the control room, he went to the weapon controls.  Sonic walked over and said, "Okay, I give.  How are you going to make it rain with the weapon system?"

While Tails was working on the screen he said, "Well, whether is not only determined by the sun, but also the planets magnetic field.  You can be surprised what super powered magnets can do.  All I need to do is adjust some conditions...  make some lightning to cause the water molecules in the clouds to fuse.  Then rain drops should start to fall."

Then Tails pressed the last button.  One of the wings shot out an electric charge into the sky.  The clouds soon turned dark and rain started to fall on the island.  The tribe started to dance with glee, and set out pots to contain the water.

Tails started the T-S 2 and took off to go back to the shack.  Kacheu turned to look at Tails and asked, "So what happened?  Did you get rid of Dr. Robotnik?"

Sonic said, "No, he got away.  But I think we met another one of Tails's relatives."

Tails sighed, "Well at least he says he is a relative.  We are not sure if Dr. Hower is the only one that is capable of making us."
